I graduated from Empire High School. Then I moved to Stillwater to attend Oklahoma State University. After graduating from OSU I taught high school English at Central High for 9 years. During that time I attended East Central University, taking night and weekend classes, to earn my Master’s Degree in Library Science. In 2011 I became the Central High librarian and have been for the past 9 years. Last spring I asked to be reassigned to teach high school again & the school board said, “Yes!” I am thrilled to be back to teaching again! I have missed working in the classroom with the high school students.
